The Marat Daukayev School of Ballet began producing ballets through The Marat Daukayev Ballet Theatre in 2001, just ten months after opening its doors to students. Our first ballet was The Nutcracker which we have continued to perform as our annual holiday event. We have also produced several other ballet events at our Spring Recital including variations from Sleeping Beauty and Paquita, as well as more modern and contemporary pieces taught at our yearly Summer Intensive Program. All students at Marat Daukayev School of Ballet are offered the opportunity to perform at events such as these, and are given roles to enhance and strengthen their dance skills.
We graciously acknowledge our generous ballet patrons, the good work of our devoted teaching staff, the valuable assistance of parent volunteers, and our talented and dedicated student dancers who make all our performances a wonderful labor of love. As we head into our 9th year, we look forward to more opportunities for our students as our school expands, and to presenting audiences with more ballet performances.
