Pas de Deux Throughout the year, students work hard to acquire classical ballet technique. In performance, they have the chance to express their love of dance for a live audience.
Each year we will present the following:
  • Variations from students competing at Youth America Grand Prix (February).
  • Spring performance (May)
  • Summer exhibitions (July-August)
  • The Nutcracker (December)

National Dance National Dance Day

The first ever National Dance Day was held on July 31, 2010 to celebrate the art of dance and its positive impact on health and self-esteem. The goal is to inspire everyone to get up and dance. MDSB teacher Andi Schermoly choreographed this dance and worked with students who improvised their own contributions. Many thanks to Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton for her efforts in creating this special day.

Please check back for updates on all performances.
